A good writer has the ability to express their deepest emotions by filling a blank page with words. These words can precisely articulate feelings of joy and happiness or pain and sorrow. Words woven together in such a way that there is no question as to what emotion the reader should feel. No question how the writer wants his words to be internalized.
With art, it’s not that straightforward. An artist must somehow externalize their deepest emotions by using a palate of colors and placing them on a blank canvas. If the artist is successful, the viewer is able to internalize the emotion being expressed and will feel it in their own mind, body and heart.
